Ive got 2 pistons. One's from a 50cc scooter, the other from some sort of midsize bike. Cleaned up and using them as paperweights.
Vinny... Pics or it didn't happen
hmm forgot those. a piston out of a detroit diesel. will have pics up tomorrow. before it gets sliced in half for hte motoman sculpture
a small plastic jar containing 57 grams (2 ounces) of pure, powdered caffeine.
enough to kill 6 people.
i did have concentrated oleoresin capsicum aka Über hot sauce. 4 million plus on shu scale. i would leave one out in asmall tub for shops vultures to raid. which theyd never EVER do again. or id keep that, ( drop one crystal in and it nukes chili, i tell them, if you cna handle this, the watch repair is on me. if you cant, you pay twice. you a betting person? ( i use pepper spray on my chicken wings

some does. have to read container, normal "pepper spray" is safe for consumption. regarding the detroit piston it is somewhere @ the house or @ friends welding shop. will locate it and get a shot of it
had the remington sculpture on the desk. but moved it. ( grandmothers) hte redneck chandeleier on right is too heavy, weighs at least 80 lbs w/o the lamps/wiring so it is NOT going there

okie dokie .. here we gokie ..
this is a 'puck' of honeybee Propolis ... a natural waxy sticky glue that bees make from their spit and stuff to seal up air gaps or just simply to strengthen the internal structure in a wild hive... in a commercial beehive they just stick the boxes together a little and the frames into the boxes a bit ... its really strongly scented in a 'herbal bootpolish' kind of way too... plus a strong natural antiseptic ... a lot of health food shops sell the extract from it in gel tablets or as a thin liquid ... lots of natural remedy uses. we collect some of it when tending the hives and this lump (about the diameter of a quarter) took a couple of hours to put together in 'dry snot/booger' sized scrapings :icon_rolleyes:
and this
(http://i940.photobucket.com/albums/ad244/Janx101/Orangeknife1.jpg)
is my citrus/orange knife a old guy gave to me on a worksite one day .. the little rectangular section halfway down blade is a scoring blade you drag around the orange skin... it cuts just into the white pith below the skin... then the end round blade can be used to lever up the skin sections and clean the rest of the pith away .. i usually just do it in quarter sections... but you can make mad 'tribal' patterns thru the skin if ya want! .. i have dated it online and its about 1932 vintage! ... kinda fiddly in some ways but most of the time you can eat a nice dripless orange instead of getting juice everywhere!...
weird enough? :D
Will have the detroit piston posted as soon as i can find it. been hell here recently
Got a few interesting items:
From left to right:
1) A piece of "The Rock"... like in Rock of Gibralter... really!
2) A piece of Okonite power transmission cable (Used to work for a Geotech firm - we were doing sitework at a facility in NJ)
3) Used piston from my 73 RD-350. It has the Uber-Rare sunroof option. Got another one at home just like it!
4) A 4-inch diameter mud-rotary drill bit. That sucker is HEAVY. Another reminder of my Geo days.
speaking of heavy/dense, wanna play catch using the ball bearing? throwing hard of course lol
