I gotta admit, I didnt expect these to be so heavy. They seem very well made. I cant put them in yet because my replacement engine isnt here YET so I just gotta wait. Ill take more pic once everything is back together.
I ordered them on the 12th (Sunday) and they came in today (Thurs the 16th)

I had a set of those. I eventually pulled them off. Hope they work better for you than they did for me.
I have a set of those on my bike right now! I like them, and they've protected my bike from stationary drops a few times, but I do recommend you add locking washers to the stock screws that come with the bars, I've already lost 2 bolts to vibration on my bike with those.
Hope you enjoy them!
Care to share why you didn't like them?
Vibrations. Noted the vibrations and over time it really started to annoy me. Plus two of the bolts snapped. It was just not a balanced design.
Was it the an issue of them not being tightened down? Dumb question I know but I can't see how they would vibe if they're tight.
Either way, it's something I will look out for. I don't need to feel numb when I get off..... Lol
Initially I thought it that too but everything was tight. Maybe to much which is why I think it snapped two bolts.
LOL......Thats gotta suck
I have a pair I installed this summer. I noticed the parts list was a little off compared to what I actually got. I will say the vibration was worse but after I got a torque wrench and realized how tight they needed to be I had no problems. I also used loc-tite on the bolts except for the actual sliders themselves ( you have to remove the one in order to check your oil level) and haven't lost one. Kind of a pain to install because you have to tighten each side a little at a time. A little tip - When you take the engine bolt out, slide the Slider bolt in at the same time to avoid the engine moving and having to line up the bolt holes again...

I solved that problem with the oil cap by putting 3 lock washers (of the correct size to fit) inside the slider itself and it keeps the bolt end from sticking out too far to block me opening the oil cap. If I use a funnel I can actually change the oil without removing the sliders.

+1 :thumb:
I also did this to my set and it works a treat! Just changed the oil yesterday, and it worked just fine with a funnel.
Alternatively I suppose the bolt could just be made a bit shorter, but washers was the route I chose first and it works.

THX guys. I will keep those tricks in mind. Once I get this new engine fired up today or tomorrow and test everything out, I will put them on
