Title: no more mikuni 62.5?
Post by: Phil B on August 20, 2012, 09:02:50 PM
So.. i went to both bikebandit.com and bikecarbparts...
looked up what the wiki says for drop in, stock exhaust:

pilot, 20    (n224.103)
mid 62.5    (n102.221)
main 137.5

but... nowhere seems to have the mikuni in 62.5 . only 60 or 65.

now what?

Maybe Buddha still has some.

Or, drill out a 60 with a #72 drill bit (equal to about a 63.5)

Did you check on Sudco's site? They are the North American Mikuni dealer.

Niche Supply is a good supplier through Ebay.  I'd recommend them.

I have not found 62.5 in years. However I also dont think they are neccesary, washer up the needle and you're OK.
Cool.
