Post by: GSF09 on August 23, 2012, 03:44:20 PM
Well, hello from Oregon! I picked up this GS for a steal from a friend, had 1300 miles on it and payed $2500. I couldnt pass it up... Just a few mods so far but working on piecing together the rest of a turbo kit for her :)

I will definitely get lots of photos when I turbo it. And thanks both of you. It's my dd since I sold my truck so I try and keep it as clean as I can.

It would appear the jardine was the one of the mods he added and the 'stubby' one was one that was on when he bought it...

I read this a few weeks ago but it just hit me - Alaska plates? A lot of impressive riders out there.  Wonder if the OP gets a lot of miles in throughout the year.

also, it looks like your exhaust can is rubbing on your rear brake banjo bolt. or is the exhaust contoured around it? My akro did that do i just bashed a bit in with a ball peen hammer. can't see it, and it doesn't rub anymore,
