Title: exhaust
Post by: rpm121370 on August 26, 2012, 07:57:15 PM
I am looking for a performance exhaust for my new GS500F, I am looking at V&H full exhaust and Jardine full exhaust, I am not looking for the loudest I am looking for best sound and best performance and it is very hard to hear these sounds in a video.

I am also going to do lunchbox filter and jetting at same time

The performance gains are pretty much moot. V&H makes a great sound, but it is loud.

V&H is good and not too loud if you jam the Jardine silencer in the end of it. I did that and sounds OK. Without a silencer, Jardine and V&H I feel are way too loud.

No kidding on how bad some sound in some vids. Their cams suck. What what I do know is exh sound on an engine with a load versus no load is a different sound also

Best performance is to spend $300 on a trackday. My $.02.

^+1........ :thumb:  You learn so much more when you can concentrate on pushing yourself and your machine beyond the safe limits of street riding...........If you really wanna learn alot, do a trackday in the rain!
