Katana with a remote reservoir or an R6?
Ive actually already got the Katana with a remote reservoir but havent put it on yet
Looks like you answered your own question
LoL. I'm not looking to race my bike but I do want to enjoy it comfortably.
You already have the Kat shock, put it on already!
LOL....ok ok ok
Any ideas where or how to mount the remote reservoir?
On the bike is the accepted practise lol.
^^^ Sorry, Im not following you. :dunno_black:
I saw a ZX6R that comes stock with a resevoir, mounted to the passenger bracket.
How much do you weigh? If you're over 220 or so, the Katana shock is the best bet. If you're in the high 100s, you're best off with the R6 shock.
Katana spring is about 20% stiffer than the R6 shock. I weigh 180, and had to set pretty much all the adjustments at the absolute minimum. With that said, I might need a Katana shock, so if you do have one, I'd be interested in traiding for an R6 shock, depending on condition.
I'm 180 without gear. I haven't put it on yet because I'm waiting on other parts to come in. PM me some pics of your R6 and ill send some of the Kat
