Title: No more sqeaky brakes!
Post by: mimikeni on September 13, 2012, 06:22:32 AM
Thanks to the worthy advice of those on the board, I applied a small amount of anti-seize lube to the backs of the rear brake pads and, shhhh.  It's totally quiet.  I had also installed those shims incorrectly and got that sorted. Thanks all.

Hardware store sells about a 1lb can of high-temperature grease (blue in color) that can be used for a variety of lubrication applications (swingarm, brake pads, wheel axles).
You can buy 35 gallons of the stuff for only $735. Imagine the fun you could have at parties with that much high temp silicone grease.

I already have some of this stuff that I got at AutoZone last year for my car brakes.
