Has anyone heard about the 2013 Suzuki Street Lineup? Off-road and King Quad have been released, but as of today 9/14/12 no 2013 street bikes at least in the US have not been announced.
Kawasaki, Honda, and Yamaha have released at least some if not all of their new bikes.
WTF? Is something going on, or should I just have a Coke and a Smile and wait a bit more?
OK...looked on the EPA site, and found that there are 2013 models:
http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/documents/cert-tst/13-mc-ctrr.xls
http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/documents/cert-tst/13-ofmc-atv-utv.xls
Filter on "American Suzuki Motor Corporation" under Manufacturer name. So that's comforting. But when are we going to know what 2013 brings from suzukicycles.com?
EDIT: Look under "Models Certified":

Be patient. Global Suzuki didn't mention GS500s until the 21st of Sep last year, while mentioning other bikes earlier in the month.
There are other threads on the main board we are using to relaying any "end of the line" info we find, as we are keeping our eyes on the bike's life.
Michael
They have not had a gs500 in the USA since 2009 model year.
Some say emissions some say the economy some say gluttony of inventory.
Just wondering, that's all.

We got the 2010 model down here in Aust. Since then, all sales of GS500s have been the 2010 colors even if the compliance plate said 2011. I've seen one plate with 2012 on it and it was also 2010 colors.
I do believe the USA as a separate deal direct with Suzuki Japan. A deal which gives you guys Much lower prices than elsewhere, I think based on agreed upon Import Volume.
Michael
well, least weve got adidasguy to whore up parts on west coast, and if buddha gets back into it, weve got east coast covered. so were good on parts anyhoo :woohoo:
2013 street bikes are starting to be released in the USA:

Unless I missed it, there is nothing really new there. They did bring back the SuMo and the Gladius with new colors. Looks like the new Ninja 300 might be the most exciting thing coming out next year .
Supersport and sport have yet to be announced.
Boulevard S40 adds fuel injection. Gladius called SFV650, which was its model number all along.
What's a gsxr1000z?
Does anyone know if the 2013 TU250X has tubeless tires, I know it has spoked rims but I can't believe any modern bike would still be using tubed tires.
Eww lol. Fairings all the way.

so probably some form of "special edition" since the 25th anniversary was a few years ago.

Out on a limb here.... spoked wheels means tube tires cause cannot get an airtight seal otherwise.
What you got against tubes on a little 250?
Michael
They do make sealed rims with spokes. Tubed tires are a disaster if you get a flat, tubeless are a snap to plug a fill---10 minutes and you are on your way. Tubed tires on a bike are insane, I lost two bikes because of flats on tubed tires---needlessly.
i carry tubes even on tubeless tires. if i have a blowout, its my chance to get home.
