No idea. I do know that there were sport screens for the E model.
Looks sexy as hell though.
I'm looking for a sporty fairing that really works ( tall shield ) but finding one that fits the big headlight is difficult !!.

I know that they are out there, but I have the F model.
You know who would know...Adidasguy. He is the king of OEM parts from all over the word for the E model.
Are those skull bar ends?
Looks like a Gimbel?
What about this type?
This is the one I have
Nevermind
Wait, wait. Did you take a picture of a computer screen and post that picture on the internet? Is that considered art?
Yup I was to lazy to import it to photobucket and then upload it to the site so I cheated..I will ask Pat when I go over to the bike cave this weekend.I really want a fairing for Trey's Alaska trip that offers some good protection.

Come on over.
Looks like the OEM. Skidmarx is nearly identical. I have both. Junior used to have Skidmarx.
One clue to OEM is the mounting bolt directly in line with the headlight mounting bolt.
Similar to oem yes, but the screen on the fairing is higher than mine. They don't offer much in terms of protection. Not as much as a highway screen would.
There were apparently different versions of the OEM, to boot.
The one on my 1990 which is suspected to be original has a smaller shield and is smaller overall. I think they changed makers and had a larger one a few years after that, which is likely what the first pic in this thread is. The Fiche might tell you (not in so many words, since they are all unavailable, but graphically...) Note that mine has lower bolt-heads and a "skirt" section below the light where the one in question does not appear to.
Let's see if I can find pics on here. Ah, from my repaint thread. Gawd it was fugly...

That makes sense, mine looks to be the same model as yours (suspected to be from a 1994 model)

No importing necessary. Next time, either right click and copy image location. Or if image location not available, right click, go to properties, and copy location.
OEM = Unobtanium!! Ok... maybe not that but they are nowhere to be found. I suppose if you wanted to be patient enough you could find one but I looked for about a month and never saw one, new, used or even broken. That includes scouring this forum. But the people I PM'd seem to all get them from other members here so if you are more patient than I am (a three year old is more patient than I am) you'll probably find one... maybe.
We leave for Deadhorse next June,I will have the bike in the shed for it's transformation starting about Nov,Dec so I have time.

As far as decent looking handlebar mounts go...with a bit more protection, try and locate an old

That is as close as it comes to OEM I'd say. Very nice. I hate to think of the shipping cost though. :icon_eek:

Got it from this guy:
http://www.classic-motorcycle-fiberglass.com/gallery/fairings/Stealth_bikini_fairing_short_screen.htm (http://www.classic-motorcycle-fiberglass.com/gallery/fairings/Stealth_bikini_fairing_short_screen.htm)
If you click through the options, he does a few different styles, including a long screen and a double-bubble for the fairing I have. Being an aftermarket item, you do need to make your own mountings - I did, not too difficult - or use the multi-fit bracket kit that the same guy can supply.
As to protection, the low screen gives some shelter; I'm 6'2" and can juuuust about tuck down under it if I'm really keen. But then, I mainly put it on because
a) I think it looks good, and
b) I am an expert in the application of corporal punishment to (smaller) primates...
That looks good. You could probably use an MRA shield mount kit to mount that nicely as well.
