That's a very odd story....

- Man crashes on Thursday with head injuries and ambo is called.
- Police interview witnesses at the scene (presumably thursday) who say no other vehicles were involved - but don't know what happened Prior to the crash (why not if you were there on the day)
- Police do NOT know if the was test riding a bike considering purchase - or - riding one he'd brought in for repair (why not if you were there on the day)
- Police called the business on Monday (a day they are closed) and left messages. BUT, those messages had not been returned by the time the article went to print on Tuesday morning some time at 3am. Well, duh!

Either the writer is bad at gathering info or the police are totally incompetent in this town failing to attend the scene of a crash where an ambo is called and calling a business that is closed for the day 5 days after the incident.

Another day in the Sue S of A. Don't say or do or report anything until the lawyers say you can or cannot.

Hope it wasn't in for a sevice and some muck forgot to tighten and axle bolt or some other such crap you can run into at stealerships.
Should have had the gear on regardless.

same reason why, if im servicing someones watch or vehicle or moto, or bicycle, i wont allow anyone else to touch it. unless they waiver me off of it. cause when an accident occurs, ppl sue the last person that touched whatever it is that broke.

Who 'test rides' their own bike ? Sounds like someone was out of their league and got bongo'ed.

It's pretty straightforward, but shows the ignorance some have.
