Title: Just a heads up
Post by: burnchassis on October 04, 2012, 10:27:16 AM
It's that time of year...watch out when you take that next high speed corner you can't see around...LEAVES are falling ,and taking away your traction.....wet leaves  = forget about it!
BE SAFE!

Thanks for the heads up! Luckily here in florida it's much less of issue, but I hate feeling the front end move under me in a corner

Good Reminder!

Noticed this yesterday.  Seems that the leaves changed color and fell on the ground overnight...

Wet leaves. Yeah, I know all about wet leaves and loss of traction and muddy ditches next to roads with wet leaves on them around corners.

I'm reviving this thread in lieu of the recent 'downed rider' threads.

Midwest is going to see some slighlty warmer weather this weekend, so be careful out there.  The leaves are down and wet around every corner.  Also... As if cagers aren't looking for bikes in the first place, now they really aren't this time of year.

Ride Safe!

Man we catch a break in Florida.  No leaves, no ice, no cold starts.  The only thing that we have to worry about is sweating are asses of in full gear while stuck in traffic.
