Title: Streetfighter project: 04 GS500F
Post by: justgswood83 on October 07, 2012, 02:39:53 PM
Done a few self mods. Got a CBR 1000rr tail, Yamaha R6 seat, new mirrors, taillight, headlight: demon spyder or something like that. Will be doing some more fiberglassing for parts like: undertail and under seat to hide wires and things. http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171823_zpsfa10f423.jpg[/IMG](http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171749_zps21f73ce1.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171729_zps3b34d394.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171653_zps593c594e.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171633_zps810d19fc.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171558_zps8cef77a4.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171548_zps296b32a9.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171528_zpse818a88a.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171456_zpsb8aac9aa.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171307_zps494dbc16.jpg)(http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b575/justgswood83/2012-10-07171222_zps52fade63.jpg)

If anyone has any ideas too I would like to hear them. Thinking about a bigger swingarm so I can put a bigger tire on too.

For the seat I just took the male bracket part off the old seat and put it on the R6 seat. Just used the holes on the seat to bolt it on, and the female bracket had to be cut and moved under the subframe so the seat would sit flush. You can kinda see in one of the pics how things were moved an welded. As for the tail I just used the two front top fairing clips an flipped them around and welded them where the tail would be angled with the subframe like in one of the pics. Also I used the original two rear bars that have the two little prongs tht hang down on each side not sure what they are called but, flipped those upside down and welded them to hold the light and give the back of the tail some support. I'll try to get some pics of that to show actually how it was done. Cause its kinda hard to explain, I've tried the best I can to do so.

Looking to sell either now or when I get done. Looking to sell to get a 600 would trade also. Like the SV650 alot but, any 600 is fine.
