Hey everyone I've got an 05 F that I've had for a awhile now I laid it down awhile back but I've slowly put I back together one of the many things I did when do so is I cleaned my carbs, took them off cleaned them up shiny sprayed the jets clean etc put everything back same as it came out 3 turns on the fuel/air screw. After I got it all back together and synced I would dial my idle screw In to decent idle, as I would rev up the idle would stick up too 3-5k. To fix the hanging idle I just dialed the idle screw in until the idle did not stick anymore as a result the bike doesn't like to stay alive at idle ( real low). I just dealt with it for the last couple months until I just recently put in a dyno jet stage one kit along with k&n lunchbox, after all synced and and what not the idle still sticks the same way. All along I thought I have a air leak some were, after dousing the carbs in carb cleaner I found no leak then I thought maybe I'm getting to much air through my mix screws. So I am now lost for ideas. Could anyone give any suggestion I am completely stumped.
Also I don't know for sure, how does the air fuel mix screws work? going in gives more fuels less gas or vise versa?
I also forgot to add that I have smoke coming out of the breather from the valve cover that I added, as the tube was open and loose ( no air box to hook up too)
