taken by one of the guys I ride with...my local canyons (I think this is part of Latigo canyon)
Unfortunately I missed this ride so that kneedragger in video is not me...
btw-it was about 45* saturday when this was taken-this is about as bad as it gets here in SoCal for winter...except a little rain.

for those unable to get it...
1)make sure you're not using Mozilla Firebird or another internet browser that prevents downloads and,
2) try right click/save as then view using windows real player or whatever you have...
Nice vid...looks like some of the roads around here except you have all those yellow turtles in the middle of the road.
That is cool! What bikes were on the road there?
excellent vid, made me wish i wasn't at work now...
what's up with the 2nd rider's legs at :42 seconds? just before the clip cuts, you see his legs fly out like airbrakes... :dunno:
dude, that looks like an awesome ride!!! :thumb:
That's it, I'm moving somewhere farther south... I can't take this anymore :x :o
Nice!!! I remeber riding roads very similar near Santa Barbara, up through the Santa Ynez valley. How I love that palce.

that's the local (maybe not so local?) signal for debris on the road...like you're pointing to it with your foot to keep your hands on the bars.

the bike you are immediately behind is a Honda Superhawk (and quite a nice one at that!) and the rider in front of him is on a Bandit 1200 most likely, not sure. the cameraman was also on a Bandit 1200.
There's a group of 6-12 riders from the Bandit forum that live nearby (within 1.5 hrs) and meet regularly (almost weekly) for rides in various parts of SoCal. I like riding with them because there is much to learn from them; they're fast as sh*t. There's a guy, Glenn, who rides a Honda Nighthawk 700S and NO ONE can keep up with him! I just saw pictures of his bike where he's scraped (regularly) most parts on the lower half of his bike...including the exhaust heat shield, centerstand, seriously ground down pegs, exhaust, etc. It's scary, really, how fast he is. Lots of these guys go through kneepucks regularly.
Last GStwin SoCal ride ended up being in conjunction with one of their rides since we happened to meet at same place roughly same time..so JohNLA, C.J./Debi, and AdamR rode with some of them before...
I finally got to bring that link up at work (the home connection is a bit slow) and I'm impressed...nice road! I've just begun to explore the good twisties in Northern CA...too much damn fun!
Lane
