I live about 3 hours away from him, but heading that way tomorrow, I am trying to get over there to see what parts he may have (hopefully gauges and/or a tank, my project has made zero progress after discovering my tank was garbage).

Dang, what a find.... Kinda weird he's letting it go for so cheap that bike could easily go for double what he's asking

Talked to him more. The front forks are slightly bent, and there is a fair amount of rust on the inside of the tank. That could explain the low price. I am waiting for him to agree to part it out because I will get the gauges from him, and maybe the gas tank. I had to clean and coat my friends nighthawk tank, this cant be any harder..
