Title: A Little Bit Of Everything
Post by: milezero5 on November 13, 2012, 08:43:24 AM
Everything was going great on the rebuild until I dug deeper into the motor to find a broken con rod and damaged crank so financially it won't be worth it to rebuild but that means good parts for everyone else. Everything in the pictures are up for grabs so if its not listed please ask.

What is the size of the front springs?

If your talking about the spring rate, honestly not sure since they are a "progressive style spring".  It's a lot firmer than stock but a bit softer than race tech.    If its actual length they are the same length as the stock springs.

I assumed they were Progessive the brand. And by size I mean the "rate" or measurement (0.80, 0.90)

Wes2001 "MIGHT" need the oil pan "gasket" if its still available and if he doesnt already have one ordered.

Just giving a guy a heads up incase he didnt know that replacing the oil pan gasket is a MUST when dropping the pan.

Do you have the fork brace and 4 bolts that go with it? Mine is bent so I'm running no fender because it rubs the tire

Do you still ave the clip-ons?

I do have the clip ons.   They were installed and then taken right back off as the project was never finished. So they are still new with 0 miles on them

Tell me a little more about the chain (I need a new one).  Is it an o-Ring chain?  Is there a master link?  How many links?  GS500 uses a 525/110.
