Title: Anyone thing $250 is good for a Shoei rf-1100
Post by: weedahoe on November 16, 2012, 07:25:23 PM
I've been riding with a modular helmet which is cool but the wind noise I think is too much and I wanna add a blue tooth setup inside the helmet. I have a guy locally that has two new Shoei helmets. One is an rf-1100 and the other is a x11.

I know they x11 cost more but he wants too much for it.

So who out here is rocking a Shoei lid?

Saw that too.  Looks like a nice lid.

That's a good price.  If it fits you well.  If it doesn't fit, $30 is too much!

I have a Shoei Qwest.  It's probably worth $200-250.  I paid over $300.  It isn't real quiet, average comfort, fogs terribly. I hear that all Shoeis fog easily, so if you can get the Pinlock visor with it, that's a plus.  Or don't ride in temperatures under 60°F.

Well I think I'm going to pass on it. Seem to be some much better deals on ebay anyway.
