Post by: peteGS on November 21, 2012, 05:11:45 AM
Hey all, just joined although I was a member here many years ago... I think it was associated with Euro Twins back then or something?

Anyway, I have an '82 GS450E as my daily rider and weekend fun bike and I love it, so only fitting I join the GS Twins forum!

I'm also a pretty active member over on the GS Resources and to a much lesser extent Do The Ton.

I'm located in Brisbane, Australia, so if you see my little beasty around feel free to say g'day...

Here 'tis in its current form:

You'll be a good addition here Pete. But just Fyi: the 500 has 2 petcocks. It threw me for a loop at first too......

So now that you're here, are you thinking of shoving a 500 in your 450 frame? If so, I'm still willing to take that exhaust off your hands.......I even have a bike I guarantee it will fit on!
