Title: WTB Suzuki Emblem and clutch cover part
Post by: FunkyBeats on November 28, 2012, 03:12:24 PM
I need the Contact Breaker Cover (Item: 11381-01D10), in silver, and the Suzuki Emblem (Item: 68233-01D00) that goes on the clutch cover on the right side of the bike.

Sites are asking for $60+ so if anyone wants to sell for much less including shipping I'd appreciate it.

Those pieces you have are for the left side of the bike. I'm looking for the cover that goes on the right side.

Well the clutch cover is on the left side and the oil cover is on the right side.

Last time I took the right side engine case off there was a clutch basket in there  :dunno_black:

Maybe. I just call it the oil cover since thats where the oil goes into the the left side has the clutch cable.

Either way, I have covers for all sides

[EDIT] I looked on ebay and it seems that is how the word it so I guess the right side is call the clutch cover.........MY BAD!

That's the piece I'm looking for. I may PM you later if you are selling that piece. Right now I'm looking for a clean one.

All the sites I looked at have it for that price. But that doesn't include the Suzuki symbol. Without that metal plate the cover has a hole. The two parts together shipped runs for around $60.

All of these pieces Ive ever seen are scratched because at some point the bike gets laid down or knocked over. If youre looking for one thats mint, I would suggest you buy new. You could sand it down, use metal filler and sand more and then paint it but for the cost of materials and your time, I would just buy new

Check and see what Addidas has

That looks like the stator cover.
The emblem is actually glued on to it.
If you just want the emblem you can buy it from cheapcycleparts.com for $13.30.

Chuck sells really nice covers and he can engrave the Suzuki 'S' on them.  Sometimes he even adds color to them such as a black ring around the edge which looks prett good too.  You might check them out.
