They look like some nice older bikes.

the first one looks more comfy. both are going to bore you with lack of maintenance and smooth operation. id lean towards the first one, it doesnt have stupid drag bars, which ruin the ergos on the sec ond.

I don't care for I4's.
They look pretty good though.

I stay off of there winter.  Everytime I get on I find something I want to add.

Have you decided against getting the GS?  I think you were talking about an 04+,....?  I like the second one better, but for the same/less money you could get an older gs.  I just looked and didn't see anything at the moment but they pop up every now and then.

What part of town are you in?  I commute from Crosby to 290 area on my gs.

No, I'm definitely still getting my GS500, though I'm somewhat interested in the idea of having an old project bike too. I'm kind of in the willowbrook area. I didn't know there were any houston riders on the forum, awesome!

The 750 looks nice, I'd try and talk him down a little on the price though. The other one raises a flag because the seller says it needs work, but doesn't say what work it needs. I'd definitely make sure to give it a thorough inspection and perhaps take it to a mechanic to have it looked over if you're serious about getting it.
