Since there were not any here nor on YouTube, I decided to make one to hopefully help others out
Its got a few more minutes to upload so you earlier birds who see the thread need to give it a few but Im off to bed

I won't have a chance to watch it through till tonight, but thanks in advance. I've been wanting to do this setup, but have been weary about getting it done in a timely fashion. I know this will definately help when I find the time to do this.
Make sure this gets added to the video tutorial thread!
Also, that HID retrofit looks super good!

I can't wait until spring!
Nice video. Easy, even I can do it.
Yeah, not but a few wires.
You're a legend Weed. Thanks very much for the video. Should be able to get it sorted now.
Thanks again

See if you can get it on soon Rashy. I have been thinking about this one too. I would like to see how well it works on your bike on our next meet-up. As per your text message, let's ride sometime over Christmas/New Year. :woohoo:
Macka
As long as you get the spacing of your sensors correct, it will always count correctly. No complaints here on mine.
Bump for the newbs
I gotta do this, looks pretty cool
I'm a newbie so i feel like my bad shifting would mess it up
Practice riding and shifting can correct missing gears. Sometimes my second gear will pop out if I don't hit it just right. The more you ride, the more you learn your bike
Weedahoe, How big is the actual displey? I'm wondering if it would be able to fit under the needle in the tach. Just cut a small portion of the face where it says x1000rpm and put it behind.
Think that could work?
I have a lot of pics in another thread and you can see it in the video but no, it will not fit inside the gauge assembly
I my have to check into this, i get lost in the ride some times i forget what gear I'm in. that can be a good or bad thing i guess

Yeah, not but a few wires.
Thanks for this video, weedahoe. In the process of installing mine now. I don't seem to have easy access to that connector you got the switched 12V from though; did that come out of the headlight? I'm thinking about tieing mine to the black wire of the horn; just tested that and looks like it is switched 12. Think there's any issues with that?
Anywhere you ca get switched 12v from is fine
