has topelled over due to winds...
my roommate just messaged me saying my bike fell over on the right side .. it was on the side stand. I wonder if it fell on his car.
On the right side was a concrete parking road block.. i hope the tank didnt get dented.
I am going to go with vanny for a road trip in about 3 weeks so i will swing my sacramento to check if the bike is alright. He is goign to send me pics tommorow.
In the mean time can i borrow someone's bike here in So. cal? I need a ride.. thankfully i got my spare helmet here in LA (the old blue/black one).. I wouldnt mind being 2up with someone.. i need to get on 2 wheels.

i think it might have been tampered with..
I was thinking about the location of the bike and where it was parked and the direction it fell over.. I put in my education into the mix can i couldnt see the wind push it.
i can only come to the conclusion that it was pushed over. Now i wonder who did it? It better not be the manager of the complex. She and I got into a little something-something because of my bike. But I set her straight over that..
I am yet to see the pics.. hope my roomie will hurry over and send them.

I'd have to agree with you there... but, the GS500 has one of the most "fall friendly" designs of all modern motorcycles. I'd be willing to bet that your tank is ok, and that you at most have sustained some rear break bends, and mirror scratches...
when i droped my bike the most that happened was a front brake lever, broken.
My bike toppled in my driveway with no wind. It was setting on a 2-4 degree angle. All it did was scratch some paint of the handlebar peg and bent my clutch lever around like a little elf shoe.
