HOLY SH!T, are you funning me or is this for real?  I thought you had a 650?  Am I confused?

Your first bike catches fire, and your next bike gets stolen? Did you call your friends to make sure it was not a prank?  I'm sure it wasn't...but worth a shot.

Edit the OP...the second phone number is missing a digit.

Damn dude...

Although I cannot speak for Xune, you never think it will happen to you.  I've had things stolen before, and the first time it happened, I was un utter shock.  You see it happen to others, but you never think it can happen to you.

Gap and Comp might keep you having to continue paying for it but doesn't replace its loss or stress of having it stolen.

Hillsborough recovered my bike from the fuckers driveway.

Stolen by Andrew Nelson (scrappy), 28yo. Theres a warrant out for his arrest.

His address is 4402 Trailview Place, plant city, Florida.

The bike is all sorts of f%&ked up, ignition smashed, throttle will just keep revving up, engine sounds funky, transmission won't shift right. has almost 1,500 more miles than it had 2 weeks ago. f%&ked up the paint, scraped off my manx sticker, f%$king up my swingarm. rear fender is all sorts of bent, rear tire is burned bald, it is riding funny, engine making sounds and trans shifting hard, and not above 3rd etcetctec.

Happy its back, But im so f%$king pissed they did this to my baby!!!!

I just spent 10 min looking over it, there isnt a peice of metal on it not scratched up, I think the frame may be tweaked, its been down on the left side, it wont ride straight, shift right, engine has a clank to it, pipes are all sorts of twisted, guage is smashed, etcetc, im too pissed off, im going back to work.

i dont know. I guess a new engine, tins, transmission, and other stuff is still cheaper than a 15k bike. But, im kind of hoping they total it. It'll never be the same after being raped.

IDK if your state supports it but being the "habitual" record he has, I would suggest and push the DA to prosecute under the term "recidivism"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recidivism

Certain states push for it. I know GA does

With a lighter and something for slow flame hidden in the poop so opening the box turns on the lighter to light the fuel to burn the poop and really just make his day

Just got off the phone with Harley of Brandon, it is at least $7500 in damages. Not sure if they'll total it or not, waiting for the ins adjustor to show up possibly monday.

Damages include:inentire exhaust system, all tins, gauges, headlight, wheels, tires, rear swingarm, forks, cylinder head, cylinder jug, and many other things.

Did say the trans seemd fine, and the engine was a quart low on oil

That sucks man. I wonder if he owns any assets worth going after in civil court? You could probably find a lawyer willing to help for a cut of the proceeds. Although with his record I doubt he'd show up to court or have anything worth seizing.

If kids in school knew they could have their hand cut off for stealing a video game, or be blinded for stealing a car, wouldn't more people think twice about it?

Legals systems all messed up. You have a longer prison sentence right now if you were to download a movie, compared to killing your wife.

Take that @$$hole's hand? Sure. Take his nuts, or just some fingers? Yup. He can still function. Blinding creates the burden was all I was getting at.

But really, those are not effective long term measures. Teaching children it is wrong to infringe upon the property rights of others is where it starts.

$9,912.

Yes, he does know better. But smacking him on the butt for being a bad boy is not a solution. Does not good. Over time, the problem is solved by teaching from the very young that it is wrong to infringe upon the property rights of others - but - this will never happen because the govt is the biggest infringer and so on it travels to the bottom of the social order.

The current system teaches them that nothing really that bad happens to them. Point was to stop it before it got that far. That takes a long time maybe even a generation or two.

My 2 cents...

Get a 500cc bike for a while.  Your insurance rates are going to skyrocket since you have had 2 claims within a year.  Not your fault per se, but they will consider you a high risk.

+1 on the CB500.  Or just buy a used GS500 and drive it like it's stolen (too soon?)

Thinking of it. I have a gs set of plastics, a 636 swingarm, and some random bolts...

This could turn into something!

Thinking of a GS, with a 2ed gen SV650 tail, undertail exhaust, and...

bah, too many ideas.

There's a warrant out for his arrest for violating probation back in 2009, and some other things the officer couldn't tell me due to it being an open case.

hopefully they throw his ass back in prison, but, who knows?
