Title: Axle and adjusters for 2001 fit a 1995?
Post by: motopumps on December 09, 2012, 07:32:49 AM
I need a new axle and nut for my 1995.  I see a set on ebay for a 2001-2008.  On Bike Bandit, it has a different part number for the different generations...  Does anyone know if the parts will work in either bike?

Thanks-

Rob

Rear axle should fit all years.  I had one go out on my 2009, and one from an older model worked great.

Early ones used a catellated nut and splitpin and had a hole drlled through the diameter to accomodate it. Later ones used a self-locking nut and didnt have the hole.

Make sure you get the nut too  :thumb:
