How long have you had it?
Pros/cons?
Opinions?
That Shorai LiFePO4 is nice but that $150 price tag isnt. The 1000 CCA batteries in my truck didnt cost that much :cookoo:
For the price, I'd buy a MotoBatt MB10U AGM battery again over the Bikemaster TruGel MG10L (and did). I did this because I could actually find specifications for the MotoBatt, unlike the TruGel. The price differential is about $3 on Amazon, and the MotoBatt is Prime eligible.
By the way, I've had my MotoBatt battery for about two years, and I've never had any trouble. My bike starts right up whether it's freezing out or it's been sitting for nearly two months. I've only put it on the charger when I first got it, prior to installation.
MotoBatt has developed a pretty good reputation for itself.
Thanks guys. I bought one off ebay for $76 shipped and comes from Jacksonville which is about 4 hrs away.
I have the trugel in mine, had it for about 10 months with no issues.....paid like $70 on E-bay for it.

Get what you pay for. Example: my top of the line pep boys battery in the xterra dies 1 month after the short warranty. Go to the local mom and pop tire store and buy a 130$ interstate.
No issues to date with quality and the brand behind it.
Bought my TruGel mid 2010. No initial charge up. No maintaining/charging ever. Sits for months during winters and still starts right up. Even survived one crash when some dude rear ended me at a stop light. It just died this month(March 2014). Paid $70 shipped. I guess I got my moneys worth. Decided to replace with a Walmart AGM since I wanted a replacement battery right away. One thing to note is when it dies, it dies... Otherwise I was very happy with the purchase
My bike came with a true gel battery, its been the best battery I've had on a bike. It works as it should, only can be killed my by wife stalling the bike a million times and starting it again........But its works
