I know a kid that has a 250cc Chinese no-name sportbike. Basically new, but he seized the motor due to running it out of oil.
Is it possible marvel could break the motor free? I know damage has been caused, but I heard crazy things like motors have been resurrected even after locking up. Kid is broke. I told him to try it because he has nothing to lose at this point.
I have a bad feeling this chinese motor is toast, but I had a 200cc chinese dirt bike that I mercilessly abused, and it would not die.
Shame because the build quality is surprisingly good (for a cheap bike), and overall design well executed.
Anyway this is a reminder to check your oil levels! It goes low to a certain point and bad things happen very quickly.
MMO is amazing stuff...I added 1oz to the gas in my CH80 and after a 10 minute ride the idle went up so high that I had to turn the idle screw out 1/4 turn....the Rpm had gone up enough the centrifugal clutch was trying to engage. I am the original owner and the idle had always been the same since '02 when I rolled it off the dealers floor :dunno_black:

It could be possible. but i would imagine a bearing got cooked down there. I have heard good things about a mixture of diesel and atf. think it is just 50/50.
By the time an engine seizes, the plane bearings and other components are usually beyond gone. if the engine is entirely built out of roller bearings, there's a chance the pistons could be broken lose and the thing would run. Otherwise, forget it.

I watched my father unsieze a VW in the 70's, it ran for a few years after that, one of his dipshit kid's didn't understand that VW's use oil :dunno_black:
