Title: Looking to buy Speedometer Tachometer Cover (backing)
Post by: jacob92icu on January 09, 2013, 06:00:56 PM
Hey guys, I just bought a 1989 gs500e, but I'm sure this design was used for many years in the gs500 lifetime. Here is a picture of what I need the most:

I live in Renton, Washington. If anyone has one laying around in good condition let me know what your asking for it, I can pay shipping and handling. Thanks,

Jake

That part is either destroyed in an accident, or people sell the entire cluster in one piece. Your best move might be to buy an 89-02 gauge cluster on ebay and swap out your speedo to retain your mileage, and try and sell the remaining speedo and tach on ebay to recoup your cost. Always a good move to ask adidasguy or the Buddha, but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say they won't have one.

Or post a WTB (wanted to buy) post in the For Sale section.

Damn Graham, that is a pretty cheap cluster. The ones I have been seeing are like 130 bucks. Good looking!  :thumb:
