Post by: catch2otwo on January 11, 2013, 09:04:42 PM
How do you take apart the tachometer?  I want to repaint the needle to make it brighter.  Anyone?

I just took apart my speedometer, sure its the same. What i had to do was pretty up the little black casing the whole way around then it just slides off

You have to take the tach or mph gauge out completely. Then take a screw driver and pry up the metal on the backside that holds it in together. Its a PITA if you ask but I recently did it to one of mine
