Title: I need a new rear rotor
Post by: DaMuffinMan on January 12, 2013, 02:23:24 AM
Saw a couple used oem ones on ebay, and they also have this for the same price or even cheaper:

I would prefer new over used, makes no difference to me oem or aftermarket. Has anyone purchased one of these? And if so, your thoughts? Thanks!

I'd go used OEM.
best to post in the FOR SALE section a WTB. There are parts whores here with lots of parts and you'll get a good part. Me, a parts whore, has no idea what to do with a half a dozen good rotors on my shelf.

If your rotor only has some ridges and is still thicker than minimum spec, you should be OK with new pads.

If rotor is too thin or excessively grooved or bent, then get a new used OEM one and new pads.

Be careful if you buy off ebay, many items are manufactured China, the quality isn't best. Like adidas said, used OEM is your best bet.  :thumb:
