Title: pulse air system (pairs) ...??
Post by: GSF500 on January 15, 2013, 01:19:29 PM
I installed my K&N lunchbox filter and have the Pairs hose + vent hose disconnected. Should I modify the K&N to attach the hoses or put a breather filter on them?  What to do :dunno_black: Thanks  AGAIN>>>!!!

Most of us remove the PAIR system. If not required in your state (i.e. no emissions testing) then get a pair of block-off plates and remove it.

The Pulsed Secondary Air System (PAIR) is for emissions only.  You should get rid of it.  If your state (AZ comes to mind...) checks emissions for motorcycles, you probably will fail with a lunchbox, so I'd block it off.

My PAIRS were removed long ago too. Less crap to worry about later on
