Title: DL650 handguards on a GS?
Post by: Zwerski on January 22, 2013, 12:03:07 AM
I'm looking to get the wind off my hands during cold weather riding. Has anyone tried the DL650 V-Strom guards on a GS500? I have a 1997 E.

No, but the Wiki has some suggestions.

If you do get them to work, let us know how it goes!

Yep. That's where I first saw guards installed on a GS. Since there are bazillions of different makers and configurations, the Suzuki ones, for me, seemed type make the most sense to try, even though they are made to fit the V-Strom. I want to see if someone had tried them, and find out what problems they might have encountered with the install, as well as the fitment for any particular model years works better than others.
