Fear not! Cocktail swords are here to save the day!
Snapped both my needles, super glued these in and they work beautifully lol

Didn't have any issues reading it with the sun up, didn't test it at night yet

But then I wouldn't have ridiculous green needles...
Anyway, they read just fine at night if anybody was wondering
