Title: Turn signals for naked?
Post by: N618ft on February 02, 2013, 12:31:43 PM
I'm rebuilding this naked 08 500GS and it has these turn signals that are on there with double sided tape.  I was wondering if anyone had some other ideas for turn signals that would mount a little better than with just double sided tape.  There's too many universal ones online to even try to figure out where to start looking.  Also, what's the most effective way to wrap/house the wiring?  The previous owner used some crappy heat shrink and it just slides around.  Ghetto.

Its very effective but not very convenient, you can wrap them with electrical tape. As for blinkers, I just picked up some of these:

This is my second pair of bike master blinkers that I have had. You can get them from any motorcycle shop. They are universal and are just two wire aftermarket blinkers. They usually range from 18-25 or so, they have a wide variety of styles, mainly diamond shapped like these ones, but smaller and more fierce looking!

Happy fishing!
