amazon seems to have a better deal. 10ft for less than 20 us. ( my next goal lol) have the carb soaking now. so after that, it will be to get the chain. once funds in place. also have to get a wheel soon, its missing one spoke. BUT that can wait a bit. i mounted the damaged wheel in rear. so if she frags, i wont get beef jerky leg lol. i was wondering why chain wasnt meshing 100% with the gear, then chain stretch came into my mind.

You sure that chain fits the sprocket? Looked weird to me.

I have a feeling something's wrong there... you sure you have the right width of sprocket? Or is the chain really stretched so much it offsets like that? Pretty incredible if it is.

aye. it does. it DOES fit into the sprocket. however i believe its stretched just enough that if i try to get chain into all teeth of sprocket it starts to come out. ive got enough parts chains i MAY be able  to piece together enough to make it work. little sprocket is rated/sized for a 25/25h as is the main 98tooth drive gear ratio as it is is 6/98 priced a carb kit
err the carb @62

found the overhaul kit around 15. have to bribe the comcast guides first before i order the parts for this. may be able to put her together enough to make it roadworthy.

ordered 10ft of bulk 25 chain. can pop the roller out and make 2 endless chains, so i have backups. also grabbed a carb kit for the hda 223 ( has the gasketry needed.  and internal partswill update soon.

Dammit to hell and back  :technical: :technical: :technical:.......( begin rant)
i try to save a few dollars, THOUGHT #25 chain was same as #25H. 25 was also $6 cheaper. pitch is same. thickness however isnt. so i bought 10ft of #25 and NOT 25H when i should have. now heres the problem. ive already set up 4 60 link scooter chains. so it cannot be returned. my own damned fault lol. thought the H in 25h meant heavy duty. honestly dont know what it means now. but it is thinner than #25 ( sidewalls) the 25 i got was tight enough it was gripping the sprocket.  slightly ...all is not lost however. i was digging through a box looking for something else. found a length of 25h chain. i think it was from my goped gsr25. when i broke the chain. cause it isnt stretched. fits the 98 tooth sprocket perfectly. so that will owrk until i round up the funds to get another 10ft roll of chain. hell its only $20 shipped. youd think i would have gotten a clue when hte tensile strength of the #25 chain was 1,045lb/ft whereas teh #25H was only 645Lb/ft
