Title: Half.com rules for textbooks - not an ad
Post by: cozy on January 05, 2004, 01:40:31 PM
Today i have sold 4 textbooks on half and made twice what my mafia bookstore would have given me. At the beginning of fall term i made almost $500, and it wasn't alot of work at all. Seriously, some of 'em weren't gonna be used this year after i paid $$$, but one man's "outdated" 10th edition is another man's treasure.

I have not bought/sold textbooks but I have used half.com to buy books to read just for fun.   Good deals on there!   I don't like spending a lot (retail) on something I'm going to read once, maybe twice!  Yeah, I'm cheap like that.

yeah I doubt I will be looking getting books from my bookstore this semester.

For instance.....$100 book USED and got 45 bux for it.  Are you kidding me?
I tell you this, I am done with paying so much for books.  Thankfully I have a major where books are mostly cheaper.  However,  I have to keep most of them.  :(
