Title: Hose routing for 2009 carb model
Post by: RTM58 on February 10, 2013, 12:38:12 PM
I took off the carbs to clean them.  Replaced o-rings.  Put ut all back together and am now having trouble with routing all the hoses.  I also have an electrical connection that has a mounting bracket on it and I have no idea where it goes.  I tfy to use the natural bend of the hoses and wires .  No luck.  I guess I did not mark them well enough.  Some are, and some aren't.  Just thought I'd try this project myself.  A learning experience.  It's my wife's back up bike, so not in a bug hurry, but the longer it sits....well, you know the story.  The shop manual gas zero about it and the stuff on this forum is great...once the xarbs are off the bike.

In this section of my photobucket page you will find photos of carbs on a table with all hoses intact. Photos are from various angles. You should be able to get things back together if you study them. print them BIG and have them next to your bike as you check the hoses.
