Anyone know a place where i can buy a new exhaust in the near future? Mine has a nice dent near the heads so one im off medical id like to replace them.
First, any GS500 exhaust will fit - even 2004+.
Check ebay. There are some good bike breakers near you such as pinwall cycles. often you can get a nearly new exhaust for under $100. remember: newer ones will fit just fine and work the same even though the can is larger diameter (emissions, noise levels, CAT in it). I'd suggest going with as new as you can get.
You're in PA so they're close: Ohio. If you were in Seattle, I'd give you one for a couple dollars.
Yea from reading posts i seen theyre all the same except for the emmisions that started in the mid 90s. Like i said, im out of work from a broken collar bone for now, but id like to get one thats not as dinged as mine. I know from experience, since i weld exhaust setups for a living, that the dents arent a huge issue. Id just like to make it look good you know?
If youd be interested to sell and ship an exhaust when i start working again let me know.

Lots show up on ebay. And there are bike breakers in your area where you should be able to pick it up.
Or you can slap a heat resistant yosh sticker over the dent. That's what I did until I crashed so many times my exhaust was covered in stickers. At least stickers give you powers.
Flat black works too...
Keep an eye out for local stock exhausts or put a post in the buy/sell section. A nice young man sold me a perfect stock exhaust for $20 because he felt sorry for me because I crashed. Ironically he then crashed and totaled his bike a year later. I should have sold it back to him but he bought a Triumph instead.
