Title: RMP problem

hi all, i'm new here.
i got 2004 gs500F and it has problem.

when i'm starting the bike RMP is 1200 but if i open the throttle it goes 4000 and do not goes back. and also when i'm trying to start bike 3-4 RMP it stalling(leak of power).
i cleaned the carburetors but nothing has changed.
if someone knows solution please help me.

Sticky throttle cable or choke cable ..leaking Carb boots ...

I expect the lads will be along soon enough to get into detail on those... But you can search for those issues on the board and study up on the concepts  :thumb:

Definitely clean and lube your choke cable. And your throttle cable.

This could also be a hanging idle problem...My 2009 had this as well.  It's because they come from the factory with a lean jet setting

How does one lube the throttle cable? I have a hangy idle as well with new carb boots and all

i think i guess the problem. unfortunately it needs valve ajdustement. what do you think guys?
