Ya so is mine  :)
My bike is a purple '93 and I got a Yellow '99 tank to replace the rusted out purple one and now everyone calls my bike the "Ultimate Lakers Fan" bike, so I painted the plastics and passenger handle black but did not pull the fender yet. Figure cheaper/easier to replace than paint..

BTW I have a rusted out purple tank for someone that wants to repair it for the cost of shipping from SoCal. I will post another thread with pics..

Your bike looks so much like mine used to!

Now it's black frame, yellow wheels and an '04 yellow tank

PURPLE!

So funny - I'm going to be paying $1700 to have a bike custom painted purple and gold!

A GS500E with the old original fairing I'm building with a Univ. Wash. theme. Frame, wheels, fairing - everything will get painted. Husky dogs on it! (no cats!)

Call me crazy but it will be one hot GS500E!

Here's an example of the guy's work who will be painting it:

It will be my project to put in the motorcycle show in December. Then it probably could sell for $10,000 to a Husky fan.
Interesting - that bike (your cropped photo) appears to be in a handicap spot. However it is not a legal handicap spot due to the lack of a sign. Therefore you can't get a ticket and if you do, you can get it voided for not properly marking a handicap spot.

No yellow fenders on ebay today.

I had a buddy that was a civil engineer when I lived in Mass. and he was always saying that. He even knew how high the sign had to be. I still said we was an a$$ for parking in the handi spot  ;)
