Title: Stock pegs on gs
Post by: wayne242 on February 26, 2013, 08:52:16 PM
I had a random thought today look at the gs500f. If you cut off all that rubber on the pegs what's under it all? Like would what's left after cutting it all off be a usable peg? I'm sure some one as as cut that off to see.

P.S: It was just a random thought i had this morning looking at them. I just wondered if they used a typical peg and slapped that rubber on it.

For all the trouble, cheap enough aftermarket ones can be got off eBay

I do not plan on doing it, i have some already to put on it. I just wondered about it when i was looking at the replacement pegs and old pegs today.

I guess i had a "how its made" moment :dunno_black:

I actually thought that a while back. When my GSXR pegs come in the mail I will try it out and let you all know.
