Sorry the text of this thread got wiped out some how. My question was if anyone has pics of what the shifting rod (right side where the large spring is) looks like correctly installed. Cannot figure what I did wrong. Got lots of free play in the shifting rod not the foot piece. It is tight.

Do you have a Clymer or Haymes manual?
They tell you how to put things back together and have pictures.

Yeah I do. It showed how to put it in, but i am thinking I must have done something wrong. Time to open up the right side and see whats going on. Thanks
