Im not sure if you are sh1t stirring or what but I'll say any 10W-40W motorcycle specific motorcycle oil that tickles your fancy or budget. Change it every 5000 kms or 3000 miles.

Exactly, you shouldn't use oil. Its bad for the environment. Just pee in the hole and youll be fine. :cookoo:

Do you really think the OP wants to know what the best kind of oil to use is?  :icon_rolleyes:

Ummmm....you already got the custom title. I would bet you could get a custom avatar, too, though. Not sure what else you're trying to get out of this, if that's not it.

Such as "I went 160-180 miles, and my bike just stopped running!" (out of gas)
or
"My never-been-touched bike with 13,000 miles dies at all stop lights" (valve clearance)
or
"Do I screw in the dipstick when I check my oil on the side stand?"  :icon_rolleyes:

But my gas gauge never went below 1, and it was only ever low when I was staying still...

On number 3, a lot of bikes with the window are set up so you can check when it's on the side stand.... I didn't know I had to put it straight up to get a good reading to start with, seems kind of like a bad design to me.

I learned real quick thanks to this site but still!

RTFM means Read the <expletive> manual.

Wish I had a manual to read right away. I googled the oil capacity, changed the oil, and noticed it didnt even register on the stick... Put it up straight and suddenly it read full when it should!
