Title: GS500 rear fender extension?
Post by: adidasguy on March 05, 2013, 12:02:29 AM
hey, I know everyone wants to chop fenders. But what about this fender extension I saw on a German ebay site?
Can anyone enlighten me on this? Any of you over there in Europe perhaps?
I can see if riding in very wet weather this might be handy, though I have no idea how it would look on a bike.

That would be perfect if you had already chopped your fender.
How much were they?

Found this too

No price for the extension. They were used fenders with it on it.
If you circumcised your fender, a new one is only about $40 US.
I don't have a part number for the extension (though I bet I can find one if I search!)

Wow! CMS has really improved the site. I haven't been there for a while. Nice to see pictures of each bolt!
(Don't tempt me - must fight urge to order parts.......)(

The one I posted utilizes your bracket and reflector with the holes pre-drilled.
I am considering getting one for my black GS I have previously chopped.

I like it! I've been considering going back to stock. My chopped fender makes a mess. Even longer could only be better right?
