It is a sad day. I am selling my GS500E. I cannot ridea sport type bike anymore due to knee injuries. The good news even though I am leaving the GS family I will still be riding a Suzuki. My new ride will be a 2004 Suzuki Intruder volusia 800. Something I can stretch my legs on, because I will not give up riding because my body say no.
Yes its Sad :icon_sad: ... but Kudos to you for not giving up and forging onwards with a new ride!! :thumb:
Pics!?...pics!?....
Pics!?...pics!?...
Keep on riding, intruders are respectable machines to own.

I will post pics of both my baby I am selling and my new ride this weekend. I will still hang here to see if I can help out with any bike problems.
At least you don't have to give up riding altogether
I could not give up riding. If I had only one leg I would find a way. I love riding. Started out in 3rd grade on a 1970 Kawasaki 100 endure. I have been riding ever since.
My first bike was an '07...which by then was a Boulevard, but a nice ride. Nice nimble little ride. Good luck!
I am looitking at a 2004 Suzuki Intruder Volousia 800 Anniversary edition with 1000 miles on it. She is in perfect condition.

WTF, who puts a cup holder on a bike? I guess that guy.
Sold my 93 GS500E today for $1800. Will be getting the Intruder tonight.
Such mixed emotions! Sadness and excitement all in one change.
Good luck on the new wheels!

I see I'm not the only one with Harley reflectors on the forks!
I hadn't thought about using them on the tail. I'll have to consider that.
