In an effort to locate TCP parts, I received this response from one of their distributors:
Hello Patrick,
thank you for your e-mail.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you any more.
TCP is closing down the factory for good at the end of this month (March 2013). We are not able to order anything from TCP. As a matter of fact we will be taking all the TCP articles off of the website by the end of this week.
Since there was absolutely no market for the GS500 in the last 5 years, we did not stock any of these parts.
Excuse my stupidity but whats TCP?

Clearly they failed at the're marketing for the gs500 as i have never heard of them. It as nothing to do with "absolutely no market for the GS500", but absolutely no advertising on the're part.
Edit: and forgot to aid those fairing where plain ugly, maybe that effected the're sells. I like the factory fairings 100 times better.
Juniormn has a tcp fairing. In my posts, I just bought another one new in the box.
TCP does look great. They were the OEM for the "e" model. If you say ugly, you might be thinking of airtech. Look up pix of Junior. It is really nice looking.
I don't think they failed at marketing as they were very popular ini Europe and parts are all over Europe eBay sites. They were not imported to the us. Only special order by those that knew about them.

Here's Junior. The fairing is nice. Not like the Airtech one.
And a couple other pix but not my bike.
