Title: Crankase Cover Emblem
Post by: dmoore on March 07, 2013, 07:53:53 AM
Greetings All - My left case emblem came off. Can anyone recommend an adhesive that will keep it in place? Looks like someone reattached it with some sort of caulking material. Thanks.

Hot glue? (http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb442/adidasguy/Videos/laugh.gif)  on a hot engine?

They're originally held on with a super strong 3M double stick tape.

3M tape would be best.

Epoxy may work as well if you clean old adhesive off and scuff surfaces.

Mine came off and I used JB weld to put it back on. It never came off again.
