Title: tyre profile 60
Post by: 2012 GS500F on March 08, 2013, 04:58:47 PM
I am about to get new tyres. I want a profile of 60 in order to lower the bike ( i am a short girl and I can't quite reach the ground comfortably). I mostly ride on bad bitumen roads full of potholes and loose blue metal and the occasional well compacted dirt road. Roads are hardly ever wet as it hardly rains and it's rather hot in summer.
What kind of tyre and what brand would you recommend ? I ride 10 000 kms a year on average.
Thanks.

What if you put on lowering links to drop it down a couple inches?

Agreed, lowering links on ebay are pretty cheap. I have them on mine and my front is dropped a bit also

From that description you have to be from Australia. And not from Queensland. Ha ha.
