Is it weird for me to be on this forum being a girl in all. My husband uses the forum quite often too. I feel like its a guy thing...
LOL ... No?
J/k
There are others on the forum. Mary comes to mind (Toogoofy). Another was an admin (pandy). In general, its less likely for girls to be on the forum, since there aren't as many female riders to begin with.
Its probably similar to female gamers in a sense... but don't think its weird...
You'll probably get a lot of responses to anything you post.. so that's a plus!

Well that makes me feel better!
Don't feel weird. We accept all GS people here. Male, Female, and pets. Cats in particular (ask Adidasguy about that one...).
My bride of 61 years would probably be here if she rode, never passes up a chance to talk. She doesn't ride and I don't quilt. Has her own blog which I have to look into now and then to see what she is saying about me. :icon_lol:

I didn't see a "Boys Only - No Girls Allowed" sign on the door...so Welcome!

I think somewhere I saw a "No dogs allowed! Cats are always welcome" sign.
PS: Bunnies with a pancake on their head are also welcome.
Girls don't actually exist on the internet so I just assume you are man and act accordingly

^ I LOL'd for real on that one. :icon_lol:

I think it's more of a gear head thing. Mainly guys like to talk about their rides and fix it.
But when you find the girl, SCORE! ;)
Look how many replies you got to just this post, you will do well here.
Hmm, maybe I need to create a new "persona" so I can get more help? Nawww GSTwins forums are the BEST!
Any female toon in an MMORPG is guaranteed to be male. But, they're easier on the eyes when staring at them for hours/days/weeks at a time. :thumb:
Any teenage person in a chat room is guaranteed to be a middle-age man or a cop. :police:

Welcome to the forum. Post early...post often...POST PICTURES!!
Hey its pedobear :cookoo:
this is a good place to be, of all the forums ive ever encountered, and thats a lot, this is the most open and welcoming on the internet. Followed closely by the glen-l forum. everyone here with very few, strange exceptions that dont last long, is friendly and very willing to help anyone in need.
OP, just imagine if you actually have a problem, you'll get your answer a week before I would judging by this thread lol

No kidding! I have a feeling this is going to be a very fun helpful place.
Who's your husband? We need to give him a hard time too.
Gstwins style of course.
Lol'd over this thread.
You're a girl?
I never even noticed :bs:
I am her husband, :D and her bike is the 89 with all the parts that were for sale on here from gsnoob500e. :thumb:

Nice!
+1 Korn for having a wife that rides a GS!!
See... Page 2 already...
Let the 'hard time' commence for Puma!
:whisper: Puma, you might as well abandon your account... you'll get more out of the site just using hers!

 but I was here fiiirrrrssst
Hahah when i was building s10s my girlfriend used to frequent the the s10forum i was on all the time, mostly to toss ideas around off the other guys and follow a few of the female builders. she didnt even own one herself just like talking about it since it was pretty much all i talked about, her and the trucks are now gone but its fun to find another female interested in something her husband loves. That and this forum is a whole lot smaller and more tight knit. welcome :)
I'm here just to figure out how to get my bike roadworthy.... and harass my husband. lol just kidding. I'll leave him alone.
Since you're related to Puma, that means you're in my area, too. Glad to hear there will be at least three GS's on the roads around GR this year.

Hopefully soon too, since spring is just around the corner.
MSF course at Fox before any riding though. Safety first and what not.

Not looking too much like spring today. Damn that Punxsutawney Phil. Always knew the little fucker was a liar. >:( If you can't trust a groundhog to tell you when spring will arrive, who can you trust? :dunno_black:
I got into one of the first GRCC rider courses at the end of April for a refresher. It helps shake off the winter rust quicker. The GRCC classes in the GR area filled up quicker than usual this year, probably due to not having any classes available at GVSU. Though, I think there are still plenty of seats open at the Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek. :thumb: Of course, it's a hassle to get through security (each day) just to take the class.

We're taking ours at Fox Powersports. Are you the owner of the blue 01+ GS500E I would see every friday at GRCC?
Nope, not me. 2007 Black/Silver (Gray) here.
I know there are more in the area, considering how many I see on the local CL from time to time, but they don't seem to find their way here. We might have to get some business cards printed up that we can leave on these bikes as we see them...
When is your class at Fox?

When I called them, they said they are working on one for mid to end of april, and im on a list to be called when date is set in stone.
My apologies to Samanthart10! I didn't mean to hijack your thread...you can have it back if you still want it. :embarrassed:
Hey, Quite alright. I'm not stingy I'll share.

Next time feel free to step in and put me in my place. I seem to have a tendency to go off topic...(http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/w465/jdoorn14/spank2_zpsc5f66b0b.gif)
The best way to fit in here is to give as much or more crap than you get.
In any case, welcome again. I look forward to seeing your progress on your '89 in your other thread...and seeing it around town once it's up & running. Is it your first bike or just your first GS500 (aside from hubby's, of course)?

It's my very first bike. I'm pretty anxious and excited to get it up and running and riding when the weather decides to improve.
