That poor poor bike.

Well, if it really has enough juice to need a 16" over swingarm I think it's awesome! Looks like a lot of work. But unknown power and ET/speed!?  All that work just for looks disgusts me.

I like stretched bikes and if you are going to add a turbo or NoS, you WANT it stretched so it wont lift up on you as easily

I want to see it run.  I think it's great to do what you want with your bike.  6 month finished build is sweee-eeet.

yeah, in any case i would not do this to a air cooled bike but maybe its just me. Anyhow:

That poor poor bike.

facepalm about the extended swingarm- god bless it.

the rest of the build is pretty cool. don't think i'd put the cooler where it is though: rock, hole, slick rear tire in about 1/2 a second !

i'd like to see more about it- microsquirt, charging system, all that stuff :)

He put all that money and work into that thing but left the stock tire on the rear.  Really it makes some much power you need a 16.5" extention but its not going to shread that narror rubber?  And number 2 he didnt get it dyno tuned?  Really you have know idea what power it makes and didnt take it to a dyno and have your air/fule check at ever 100 rpm to make sure its tuned correctly.

I couldn't do this build myself... And a suspect a lot of other people couldn't either.....

Lots of assumptions about what he did or didn't do also.....

But it's a drag bike! ... I reckon it's purpose built and setup for the owners intentions ... Doing all that work... Just I somehow doubt he woke up one arvo after a 6pack or so too many beers... And thought 'I'm gonna f$&@k up my bike' .... Looks fairly well planned?!

How many top fuel rails do you see carving a groove on a NASCAR track?.... Yeah that many!!

Same here... Ok yeah it's not top fuel.... But it WAS setup with a single purpose in mind!! ... And pretty well setup too!

dude it says in the video he dosnt know how much power it make so no he didnt tune it and there is no way in hell hes drag racing it on that tire.

a "dyno" is a meter, that measures - torque through gee wiz math
a wide band O2 sensor measures - exhaust temperatures through gee wiz math

there is no need to put it on a dyno. the important thing to do is make sure the fuel/air ratio is sane.

the back tire is fine. it's generally more important to be able to lean and turn in a controlled manner than to go straight, might be why he left it. i doubt he produced more than 70HP with the setup. it wouldn't be very difficult to put a small car tire on a wheel, for dragstrip use. lol a standard car tire might last 3 years at the drag strip on this bike !

usually, if it runs at all, the person involved with installing a turbo has a clue. it may not run for long with the valves floating and 15PSI ( LOL again ) but give him some credit for the build.

it's a gs  :thumb:

I disagree with most of this but can't get into it now.  Ill respond in detail later.

It takes a decent skillset to be able to do that. The stretch is a little long for my taste because it would be a Buddha Loves You to turn, unless it is primarily a drag bike. He needs to add a chain tensioner 'cause that is a long chain and a lot of travel. So love it. It is different compare to all the other plain GS's we see everyday.  :thumb:
