Apply PB Blaster or similar (Seafoam DeepCreep is similar but will not burn) then
1. Impact wrench
2. or heat fork with a torch to expand the aluminum then they will come out

Dont know what those products are and dont want to go find out this time of day
Dont have impact wrench (been meaning to get one) Not this time of day
Dont have a torch but do have a butane fire maker but didnt work on forks :(
Did however manage to remove them by cutting a groove into the top of bolt with my 2 inch air grinder and then use hammer and screwdriver to undo :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Thanks for the quick suggestions though Addy
Oh yeah Karma for you too :thumb:
Cods, you need an impact driver! $20 from Supercheap will get you one, and you can pull the bit off and reveal a 3/8 socket driver.
I got some marine grade WD40 substitute from them as well that seems to work a bit better than WD40.
I've yet to find a good true penetrating oil though.
However, slot/hammer/screwdriver is another good method :thumb:
is the allen hole ruined? or it is just stuck from corrosion?
If the allen hole is good than an impact driver will probably dislodge it. I bought a Signet one for 25$.
If the allen screw is ruined, take a slightly oversize torx head, and hammer it into the screw head. This will give you enough leverage points to turn the screw open.
that's what I was going to say,...cut a slot and use impact hammer w/ slotted bit
least u got it out!
When something is stuck, do not pull on it with your tool. Use taps and hits on the took. That simulates the impact wrench action. The taps (impacts) help break the stuff holding it in there.
Cod, PB blaster is your friend, go buy a can incase you ever need it again, it eats rust and works great on these!
Thanks for all the replies guys :thumb:
Allen head was rooted which is why I cut a slot.
Still dont know what pb blaster is
Will buy a impact hammer today
